I bought one because a couple of friends had one and recommended them. They are roomy, waterproof and windproof. They're not a 'soft' material but are excellent as an over-the-top jacket. No need to go up a size. Compare your favourite jacket to the sizing on this and you'll be buying the right size.

I was expecting it to have a less plastic feel, but still love it. Will be great for our Scottish holiday.

I love my refuge jacket! Was recently tested when I had to sit in pouring rain for hours - water was pooling on the jacket, and I was perfectly dry on the inside! Very comfy and amazingly the hood stays on your head and doesn’t droop in your eyes 😁 I probably could have sized down but at least I can fit warm layers underneath.

Gorgeous raincoat, it feels very high quality. Normally a medium/large in shirt size, bust is 100cm the medium fits me with extra room for a fleece to fit under it as well. I bought this to hike the Overland track, but I can really only speak to the wind proof aspect of the jacket as it didn't rain on my trip! But the windproofing worked really well and kept me warm.
